Reef Dives

South Florida is home to the 3rd largest barrier reef system in the world. Scubatyme is lucky enough to have some of the best reefs right here in Pompano Beach! Our reef dives are conducted as drift dives. Divers are dropped in groups along the North and South reef line with a dive flag and reel. Divers cruise along the reef line with the current, taking in the breathtaking coral, and marine life. Reef dives are great for spear fishing and lobster hunters.

Second Reef Line (Depth 16-40 ft)

The second reef line consists of shallow ledges and rock piles. Divers can expect to see various tropical fish, sea turtles, tarpon, nurse sharks, lobsters, and rays!
